Four Townships Leaders of Tomorrow Award winners and five nominees were honoured during a ceremony held on Sunday, April 1, at the Centre Lac-Brome. Melanie Cutting and the members of the Townshippers of Tomorrow committee said they were amazed by the quality of this year's candidates: ‘We are delighted that we got such excellent submissions’, says Melanie Cutting. ‘The purpose of these awards is not only to celebrate the nominees, but also to encourage other young people in the Townships’. If this year’s nominees are any indication, young English-speaking Townshippers certainly have a lot to offer!
