Make Way for YOUth!

What can Make Way for YOUth offer YOU?

For individuals, Make Way for YOUth offers a variety of services to introduce you to (and help you settle in) the Estrie region.  For more information, read on.

For employers, Make Way for YOUth offers you FREE job postings on TWO highly visible, well-visited websites (
www.topportunity.ca and www.accrodesregions.qc.ca), publicity for your business, networking opportunities and a chance to browse a database of motivated and enthusiastic young graduates who already have a real interest in living and working in the Estrie region.  For more information about what this project can do for you, visit the Make Way for YOUth Employers page.

? Individual Support Services

If you are under 35 years old, and:
• Living outside the Estrie administrative region and considering moving to the area,
• Or living in the Estrie and in need of help to find a job, a home or some information about the services available to you in your area,

The Make Way for YOUth project offers FREE individual support services to help you.  For more information, contact me today!

? Exploratory Activities

Make Way for YOUth offers you an exciting introduction to the Estrie English-speaking community via a weekend of FREE activities.  What better way could there be to get to see and know the region?  If you are thinking about moving to the Estrie region, participate in one of our three exploratory activities (each activity will last approximately 2 days and will cover two MRCs) to 'test out' the region for FREE.  It's a small commitment that BIG potential rewards for you and your future!

These exploratory activities provide you with the perfect chance to explore the region and begin putting into place a network of contacts  (through visits to businesses and meetings with potential employers, municipal councillors and other 'movers and shakers' in the area).  Over the course of the weekend, you will also find out about the many employment opportunities that are currently available in the Townships.

If you have recently moved to the area, don't worry!  You can still participate in the Make Way for YOUth activities.  If you've lived in your new home for less than a year, you are eligible to participate in the activities taking place in the Estrie...who knows, you might just learn some new things about your new surroundings!

To participate in the Make Way for YOUth Exploratory Activities in the Estrie English-speaking community, you must be:
- between the ages of 18 and 35;
- a graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) of a Vocational Training, College or University program;
- hoping to work, start a business and/or create your future in this beautiful region of the Eastern Townships.
