Hydro-Wick Industries Ltd., a pumps and accessories manufacturer dedicated to the protection of forest fires, is currently seeking a CNC machinist for it’s plant located in East-Angus
Major Tasks:
- Setup CNCs.
- Measurement and control of production parts.
- Write and update G codes- machining programs.
- Machine necessary jigs for production.
- Ensure maintenance of equipment and tooling.
- Participate in R&D projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualities and Skills:
We are seeking for an independent, trustworthy and organized person, who has hands-on skills. The candidate is positive minded and appreciates team work. The candidate should have detailled drawing comprehension. Bilingual.
Training and experience:
- DEP in Machining technic.
- Experience on CNC essential.
- Experience with FANUC or OKUMA control an advantage.
- ASP on Numerical control machining an asset.
Working conditions:
- Salary offered: according to experience of 12.55 $ to 17.75 $/hour.
- Day shift job with vacation replacement on evening and night shifts.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Possibility of becoming a shift leader if the candidate is qualified.
