DESCRIPTION:
YouthPath provides useful links that can help young people get career information, develop skills, find good jobs, and stay employed. Among the links on this site are the Youth Employment Strategy, which works under three programmes and each programme targets a specific group: Skills Link (for young people facing barriers to employment); Summer Work Experience (for secondary and post-secondary students); and Career Focus (for post-secondary students).
Who Can Participate in the Youth Employment Strategy?
You can participate if you are between 15 and 30 years of age; legally able to work in Canada; and not receiving Employment Insurance (EI) benefits.
Job Listings
The YouthPath website also provides links to job listings, summer jobs, working abroad, getting work experience, looking for a job, career information, and starting your own business in your community. The Job Listings link includes a Job Bank for the Estrie region.
